NGO Vere Montis was founded with the aim of promoting civil society and human rights through sport and sports education. Based in Rijeka, Croatia, we focus on the sustainable development of physical education and sport across Europe.
Our work includes the development, implementation, and coordination of national and international projects for the advancement of sport and physical education โ improving health, physical condition, and sports culture of citizens, with youth as a priority.
We champion gender equality, inclusion of persons with disabilities, ecology and sustainable development, dual careers for athletes, and the fight against all forms of addiction and doping โ all through non-formal education, mobility programs, and strong volunteer networks.

The management team and founders of Vere Montis are all former athletes and managers of local and national sport associations from Croatia โ experts with doctoral degrees in management and professors emeritus in kinesiology and medicine.
